West Texas raised pencil portrait artist. 

 

I started drawing at my grandmother's house as a child.  Grandma would always doodle beautiful pictures while talking on the phone and I was her biggest fan.

As a child I was curious yet inspired by the simple drawings of my elder high school cousins.  They taught me "artsy" things like shading and lighting.  Their drawings of anything from animals to cars always fascinated me. 

 

I had discovered a hobby that was fun and spent many weekends drawing at grannie's bed & breakfast!

I took my very first art class in junior high.  I could have stayed in that room the whole school day.  When I reached high school I jumped right in the "ART 101" class for a richer experience.

Today, I remain faithful to my art and preserving loved ones with a hand illustrated pencil portrait!
